About Community Legal Education

The role of a Community Legal Education (CLE) worker is to support Indigenous communities in the prevention of all forms of violence including family violence. The objective of CLE is to prevent violence, through education,  before it occurs.

We hope that by working with Community Councils and other important stakeholders, we can network towards reaching effective outcomes for all. Ultimately, Community Legal Education will directed towards members of communities in an attempt to reduce family violence throughout the Top End regions of the Northern Territory.

“CLE is achieving positive and effective passage into remote communities”
